You wonder sometimes, do they know? Can they sense your presence guiding them? Or do they think it’s their own will moving their limbs, their own choices driving them forward? You are the one in control, but you are always apart, on the outside, watching them live in a world you can’t enter. Or, maybe you could?
A new performance is in the making. It will be in English and available for touring. Premiere April 9-11th 2026 at Turteatern in Kärrtorp, Stockholm.
On stage: Avatars, humans directed by headphone instructions.
In the audience: Operators, guiding and controlling the avatars on stage.
One act will be played as Avatar, the other as Operator. This means you will develop a 1-on-1 relationship to someone else in the audience and surrender control to each other.
